Blythe House Carers Support Group
If you are caring for a family member of friend, we are here for you. Experience tells us that carers need time to talk, share, listen and relax. Group sessions are facilitated by a team of qualified and experienced healthcare professionals and may include topics such as: coping with anxiety, knowing where and how to access support, managing medication, financial and benefit advice, how to relax, planning for the future, dietary advice and help. The group starts with a 'meet and greet', then there is a group discussion which incorporates advice, information and an opportunity to share ideas. The last hour of the group is general peer support where you can chat to other carers.
